WHYS Competitive Soccer

WHYSC is continuing its efforts to respond to the needs presented by parents for different levels of player development. In an attempt to meet this need, WHYSC started both the Competitive level and the House League All Stars (HLAS) in 2009. For more information on joining House League All Stars, see HLAS.

The Competitive level players are not part of House League, but are part of the Hamilton and District Multi-Jurisdictional League (MJ Select) or South Regions Soccer League (SRSL). MJ Select begins at U9 and SRSL begins at U11. Try-outs for the Competitive teams are generally held in the Fall, after the end of the House League season. Most teams practice indoors throughout the winter months and play an extended season (May-September) of games. Try-outs for 2012 WHYS Competitive Teams were held on September 24, 2011 and October 1, 2011 for Girls and Boys born from 1996 to 2004.
